It's been a busy season of performing which has been a blast, but now it's time to get back down into writing and recording. My photography partner and I finished our first collaborative production for Paradise Guest Ranch's 100th birthday last summer. We're working on a couple new ideas now, I'm writing on a few old friends that will turn into songs when they are ready, and I have been asked to score a movie by an up and coming young and talented cinematographer. All roads point to the good.

I've been recording the Paradise Guest Ranch songs for an upcoming DVD that will commemorate the passing of 100 years. Happy Birthday! Western photographer Diana Vogt has really taken some outstanding shots of the ranch that include its current and past owners. They ought to really help the songs tell the story of what this place is all about. Look for this 3 song DVD before the beginning of the summer.

Got back from the whirlwind tour of Italy and Switzerland with a pocket full of stories and lots of steam for writing. I've been working on Paradise Guest Ranch songs for an upcoming DVD (they're turning 100!) as well as other material. I'm starting to think about what kind of feel my 5th cd will have and, like alot of things, the writing and planning inside winter in Wyoming is the fun thing.
